This testing is performed in accordance with ARI 370 that all terms in this test shall follow the standard industry definitions established in the current edition of ASHRAE Terminology of Heating, Ventilation, Air- Conditioning and Refrigeration, unless otherwise defined in this section. Also follow the ARI 370 standard to calculate the tone that the purposes of this standard, a tone is considered to exist within a One-Third Octave Band when the sound level in that band exceeds the average of the levels of the two adjacent bands by 2 dB or more.
